The Red Hat Society will be keeping warm while staying cool this winter

Winter is almost upon us, but that doesn’t mean the ladies of the Red Hat Society are settling down for the season. Rochester-based Red Hats and More has rolled out their winter line of apparel in the companies trademark purple and red.

“Just because the weather is getting colder, doesn’t mean that we hang up our fabulous sense of style,” said Red Hats and More President Pam Schenkel. “Many of our winter accessories will keep our ladies looking great. They’ll also make fabulous gift ideas for the Red Hatter in your family.” Here are just a few of the items for sale on their website to help prepare yourself for the holiday season:

The Sparkle Hat is the perfect way to get ready for the holiday season. This stylish hat features a poinsettia, vibrant feathers, glittering berries and even a cardinal. This hat will make it look like a holiday garden has settled comfortably on your head, and is sure to catch everyone’s eye.
The Magic Scarf Set is a fun and furry way to beat the winter blues. The set features a long wooly scarf, warm gloves, and a winter hat. The furry set is a great way to keep warm this winter. It’s available in both purple and, of course, red

In addition to these great gift ideas, will have several different holiday gift baskets available in the coming weeks.

Many of us were impacted in some way to the untimely death of Princess Diana. For some, it was surprising how much emotion the tragedy evoked. Her fun spirit and sense of style were a big part of why people loved her. As she is being remembered just before the 10th anniversary of her death, I stumbled upon this picture of her in a red and purple hat. It made me think of how much her spirit reminds me of the wonderful fun-loving spirit that the members of the Red Hat Society also share. To get a similar, wide-brimmed look, we have Carissa. A lovely large brimmed hat, perfect for warm summer days.
