Hello My Lovely Red Hat Ladies!A couple days ago, my Red Hat Society chapter adopted another red hat member! She is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. We are all happy to have her as part of our group. At our most recent tea party, I was happy that she began to open up and tell us all about her life and family. One of the stories that she shared with my chapter sent a shiver down my spine and flooded me with inspiration: she is a cancer survivor.
I thought about her story for a while when an idea popped into my head. Why not start a support group for women battling cancer? As I continued to think, another idea came to mind; we can create support groups for any number of issues! It was one of the best revelations I've ever had. After all, supporting women is what the Red Hat Society is here to do.
Throw a little party for those who need your support. Put on your best red hat regalia, like the Eliza red hat and Keyhole Purple Shirt, and celebrate life! Be sure to tell me how you helped a sister in need.
